Thank you for your response Warmweer, you raised the question You also have a group Stations. How do users become a member of that group? which got me thinking because auto group cannot deal with that can it sorting into groups without intervention only by certain triggers, so to do that one of the triggers to move stations to station category could be 1 post, then if i wanted to put producers in another group I could say 2 posts, however I don't want to to this mainly because over time new forums will need to be created however here's my new plan.
The point of these forums is so that smaller players involved in radio broadcasting have a SAFE place to collaborate, now even at the beginning I wanted it to be a case they could register, sit in the welcome room until they have been verified by myself using the verification extension( I know that only puts a tick) and the automatically moved to the right forum through an extra registration field, I thought i saw a code snippet to add to autogroup to achieve this but maybe not.
So how would you Hold them in the welcome room until they were verified and added to the correct group?
