I am having trouble finding to what extent calendars and calendar events are supported in phpBB. I did a search for a calendar extension and that produced a single result, a Hijri calendar extension which will "allow you to view Hijri (Islamic) Calendar beside the Gregorian Calendar or instead of it." That implies to me phpBB has a calendar feature but a search on the word "calendar" in the phpBB documentation found nothing.
I am considering moving from a modified version of MyBB to phpBB. One heavily used feature in our current BB "event" posts. An event post is like any other post in that it can include a "poll" and can be replied to. But it is alos different in that it has fields for specifying the date and time of the event. Furthermore, one can access a calendar where those events are displayed.
Is there anything like that in phpBB, even if events are not treated like other posts?
